Acai Bowl


Acai Bowls are my jam!! ❤ We make them at least once a week and the boys love them!! In fact we all do! I finally wrote down how I made my acai bowl so thought I would share one of my recipes. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients:
4oz non dairy milk of choice
Splash of fresh oj (optional) If you add OJ add less non dairy milk. All together should equal to 4oz of liquid.
2 frozen acai packets (I use @sambazon)
4 apple bananas or 2 Large regular bananas.
3 cups frozen tropical fruit mix
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup frozen mango
4 TBS hempseeds
1 TBS barley grass juice powder

Serves 4

Directions:
Blend in a high speed blender and scrape down sides as needed until its all blended and is a smooth ice cream like texture. If its too watery add more frozen fruit but be careful not to overblend because it can get watery. It takes time to blend and scrape down the sides. you will want to add more liquid but give it a chance! Take tour time. Stop the blender, scrape down the sides and keep going. Its worth it in the end! If you really feel like it needs more liquid add just a tiny splash of liquid.

I use a one cup measuring cup to add the acai to my bowls and divide them evenly. The extra goes to the parents bowls. 😜

Top with favorite toppings of choice. I used granola, sliced banana, sliced strawberries, blueberries, scoop of peanut butter, chocolate covered gogi berries, cacao nibs + hemp seeds.
