Love-Golden Mama’s Toddler Cinch Sack

Toddler Cinch Sack by Golden Mama
I love supporting handmade and local so I am excited to share with you this awesome company today. *Golden Mama is a mom made company which sells adorable Toddler Cinch Sacks to help make non-stop moms life easier. These toddler cinch sacks are cute, functional and beautifully made drawstring bags made in Los Angeles, Ca by the lovely mama; Goldie D’Annunzio. Great name right!? I was lucky enough to receive a train cinch sack in the mail a couple weeks ago and have been using it non stop! When we pulled it out of the box my son was immediately excited about the trains on the bag. It was so cute watching him point at the bag and yell “choo choo.” As a mom I appreciate the attention to detail that this bag has. This bag is really well made with the thick fabric and seamless sewing. It even has a pretty lining with a pocket to hide things! We love our bag!! We’ve used it to throw a couple books, toys, diaper and snack in to take to the park, doctors office, grandparents and grocery store. It really does come in handy when you don’t feel like taking your big diaper bag. Plus it’s just super cute!! And if your child loves having a bag of their own then they are going to love carrying this bag with some of their favorite toys and snacks right on their back.

About Goldie

Goldie began sewing about 7 years ago after her youngest daughter was born with complications. It became like therapy for her. Having 4 kids keeps her pretty busy so having the time to get away became a chance for her to empty her mind and relax. The thought of returning to a 9-5 full time job while her 4 children were at home bothered her, so after encouragement from her family and friends she took her passion for sewing and turned it into a small business and created Golden Mama. Goldie lives in Los Angeles, Ca with her husband and 4 children.

What inspired you to create Toddler Cinch Sacks?
“I was so tired of carrying around a diaper bag.” My son Vinny was fully potty trained just before 2½ and I was insistent on me getting a regular purse on my arm again and him taking the snacks that he wanted himself! My goal was to set out and make something cute and hip like my little man, especially living in fashionable LA…thus the birth of the Toddler Cinch Sack.

One piece of advice you can give to moms wanting to start a business of their own?
Don’t be afraid to step out of the box and jump head first if need be, because it’s the only way it’s going to happen. Kind of like jumping into a cold swimming pool. Once one does it…they most often find it refreshingly awesome! As with life…it’s kind of like deciding to have children. You really want them but then all of the “Buts” get in the way. I really want a baby BUT…I’m too young; I’m too old; our house isn’t big enough; we don’t have enough money or for some folks…I don’t have a partner/husband. Life is not going to stand still for all of that to happen. We may never ever be at the perfect point to have a kid or start a business or for anything else for that matter but then we might as well curl up in the fetal position and stop living. Life is meant to be lived and shared and emotions are meant to be felt. If one never takes the chance on anything how is one supposed to do/feel any of that. If you want to start a business…even if you have 1, 4 or more kids running around…start a business. You are your only limitation!  Some days will be great…some not so but as the saying goes…better to have tried and failed than to have never tried at all!

Very nice article, Josefa. Thank you for supporting my wife. I am very proud of her. Now we obviously need to get your son some clothing from a real Ivy League school like Princeton! :) Ciao-Ciao!
