Quick Tip-Take It Easy and Listen To Your Body

A lot of time when we get so excited about changing our diet we want to throw everything we have ever eaten out the window and start brand new (I can attest to this). It’s easy to get overwhelmed. With all of the different diets and theories out there it’s no wonder there is so much confusion. Take one step at a time and start introducing healthy foods into your diet. Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, superfoods, lots of color, grass fed meats, and organic whenever possible. If you can’t afford ALL organic try to buy as many of these foods organic. Still want that ice cream or cookie you love oh so much!? It’s ok! You don’t have to throw it out all together. Just don’t have it every day! By adding more and more healthy and whole foods to your diet you are going to begin loving them so much, your palate will begin to change, and the things you used to crave will start beginning to be less and less. And remember to listen to your body! If your body doesn’t do well with a certain food then stop eating it. Introduce it again a little later and if you have the same reaction then you may want to think about eliminating that food from your diet.

Great tip! I can totally relate to wanting to throw out everything at once. I had a major case of food aniexty after watching Food Inc a few years ago. I was so paralyzed by fear I didn’t want to eat anything. Then I realized just what you said, that you have to take it little by little. Thanks for sharing!
